About Us
We Are: a vibrant community of families, united by our shared passion for adventure and commitment to learning how to live on Earth in healthy and regenerative ways. Families meet in wide-open, out-of-door spaces to target age-appropriate skill development through nature-inspired activities designed to stimulate meaningful connections amongst children, caregivers, our community and the natural world to inspire lifelong love and stewardship of our planet.

Our Mission: is to empower children and their families by teaching the core ethics and design principles of permaculture through engaging outdoor field trips, courses, and workshops. With a focus on sustainable energy and resource management, children explore natural environments which require critical thinking and calculated risks to learn to evaluate potential dangers and make informed choices about how to proceed. Safety is our top priority. Families come to LBNC meet-up's to learn how to prepare for and to navigate potential hazards which could be encountered in natural spaces such as wild animals, toxic plants and extreme weather conditions.

Our Vision: is to cultivate a profound sense of care and responsibility for our Earth and all the life it sustains within a global community of humans. We envision individuals choosing to live in ways that create ripples of healing and abundance for people and the planet, ensuring a legacy of sustainability for generations to come.
